NÄMÏDÄË [2015]

(The Last Tears)

All Öxxö Xööx's albums.

The albums appearing in black are the upcoming albums.

Once a complete being of light, YÜMÄ found himself separated within matter, split into two humans, Öxxö and Xööx. They whisper and cry out a direction, the path back to their Luminous Reality.

The core of the message is that this ephemeral and semi-demonic world does not correspond to them. Their paradise is not of this world.

“The Kingdom of Heaven is taken by force, and it is the violent who seize it.”

The request for forgiveness for having chosen to experience evil constitutes a first step toward liberation.

The revolt of Öxxö Xööx is therefore above all internal, in the heart, directed against the evil within oneself rather than against the external world or the Demiurge, prince of this world.

This implies renouncing all forms of violence or self-destruction, notably the act of killing living beings in order to devour them.

To love is to protect, and one cannot love those whom one puts to death.

Öxxö Xööx, a life project conceived by Laurent Lunoir, is derived from binary coded decimal (BCD) : 0110 = 6 and 1001 = 9, thus 69.

This desire to transform the 6 into a 9 expresses the transition from the fall into dualistic matter toward the right to liberation, and becomes a symbol of healing.

His music fuses doom metal, neo-classical, gothic, and electronic elements, most often accompanied by a personal language conceived as an idiom of the soul.

The sculptures, costumes, handcrafted creations, and corpse paint (reimagined as a celebration of life) form an important part of the visual aspect.

Öxxö Xööx symbolizes a wounded demon seeking to become an angel once more, beings tainted by evil yet committed to the path of forgiveness.

The project thus presents itself as the story of fallen souls learning to rise again toward the true Light.

The albums are structured in several parts. “Rëvëürt” and “Nämïdäë” make up the first part, while “Ÿ” and “+” form the second duology.

The vocal core of the project is formed by Öxxö Xööx and Laure Le Prunenec (Rïcïnn), whose voice accompanies the studio albums and live performances, from the duo with Laurent Lunoir to expanded line-ups.

Öxxö Xööx’s concerts are conceived as extraterrestrial masses, where organs, synthesizers, earth-shaking rumblings, and human voices merge to create a sonic liturgy.

Each performance is a blazing revolt against the evil within us, leading to the land of tears, an inner space where an ocean of love soothes, restores hope, and renews faith in the true Light, God.
